FORT SMITH DISTRICT JUDGE JIM O'HERN ADMITS HE VIOLATED LAW ACCEPTING ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS

ADMITTED LAWBREAKER - FORT SMITH DISTRICT JUDGE JIM O'HERN

Fort Smith District Judge Jim O'Hern signed an Offer of Settlement with the Arkansas Ethics Commission in which he admitted and agreed he violated Arkansas law by accepting illegal campaign contributions in his run for office.
The complaint against O'Hern was filed by the publisher of this blog.




O'Hern was not fined, but was issued a Public Letter of Caution.



O'Hern's campaign treasurer, William C. Warren, Jr.,  an attorney as well, also signed the Offer of Settlement and was fined the whopping sum of $100.00 for violating the law by accepting illegal campaign contributions.  



Warren was also issued a Public Letter of Caution.

O'Hern remains under investigation by the Arkansas Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission.
